Not all construction sites are the same. With 50 years of experience, we have seen almost every type of construction project possible; from building a new football stadium, potash mine expansions and new office tower projects to highway bypass development, new home builds and small renovations – Loraas has the service and expertise in hauling away material to the appropriate facility.
Loraas is registered with ISNetworld and COR certified.
All drivers complete the SCSA (Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association) Safety Training System three-year certification and the SCSA Generic WHMIS three-year certification. Other courses include safety and environmental training programs through Consumers CO-OP Refinery, EVRAZ Inc., YARA Belle Plaine, and Nutrien (Potash Corporation).
Loraas can assist with diversion reports for company records or LEED projects.
Waste Disposal and Diversion
Loraas can provide a range of container sizes for a variety of uses. Containers vary from 3 to 40 cubic yards and include:
- Front-Load containers for both general waste, cardboard recycling and some mixed material recycling
- Roll-Off containers for general construction waste, wood recycling, shingles, concrete, scrap metal and more.
The Sales Team at Loraas works with you as a partner, not just a service provider. Our team will assist in finding solutions to what can be diverted from a build or demolition site, suggestions for hard-to-access locations, difficult scheduling requirements, after-hours calls, on-site safety requirements and material diversion reports.
Portable Toilets and Wash Stations
Loraas maintains the largest inventory of portable toilets in southern Saskatchewan including regular toilets, larger accessible toilets and sink/toilet combination units.
Self-contained hand wash stations with single or dual sinks.
Temporary Fencing
Locally manufactured fence by Loraas Disposal in Moose Jaw, our fence is constructed to our standards – strong frames and wire mesh are made to withstand the Saskatchewan wind and climate.
Available in 4, 6 and 8 foot heights – all panels are 10 feet in length. Roll-out gate sections are available.
